Our HOUSE OF CARPENTER event will feature some of the genre master’s best films!
We will be kicking things off with the film that kick started (on the big screen at least) the collaboration between John Carpenter and Kurt Russell, the grungy sci-fi thriller ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK (1981) before jumping ahead to their team-up on BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA (1986). After a short break, where you can sample some of the delightful food vendors of GRUB, we’ll be back with the unfortunately more relevant than ever, THEY LIVE (1988). We’ll be closing the night out with the last true classic of Carpenter’s career (so far), the postmodern nightmare, IN THE MOUTH OF MADNESS (1994).
